Getting your child immunized is one important thing a parent can do to protect a child's health. It's time to make sure your kindergarten and 7th grade children are up to date.

Required for Kindergartners
Dtap & Polio
A combined shot that protects against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), and Polio.
MMR
A shot to protect against Measles, Mumps, & Rubella.
Varicella
Protects against the chickenpox virus. Recommended only for children who have not yet had the disease.
HepA
Protection against Hepatitis A. Recommended if vaccine was not received in infancy.
Required for 7th Graders
Tdap
Booster for protection against Tetanus, Diphtheria, & Pertussis (whooping cough).
Menactra
(Optional)
Protection against Meningitis. Optional, but recommended for this age group.
Gardasil
(Optional; Females only)
Protection against cervical cancer. Optional, but recommended for women ages 9 – 26.
For those choosing an Exemption, an office visit & fee of $15 are REQUIRED.
