Administration and Governance
The Bear River Health Department (BRHD) is governed by a nine member, nonpartisan, volunteer Board of Health. There are representatives from each of the three counties serving on the Board.
The BRHD is directed by a Local Health Officer. The Health Officer is appointed by the Board of Health and is responsible for the overall administration of Department functions.
Divisions
The Bear River Health Department is divided into seven functional Divisions. Each Division is administered by a Division Director who is responsible for implementing several public health programs. For a description of programs offered by a Division, click on a link below:
