The Bear River Health Department’s Substance Abuse Division is dedicated to providing quality, affordable treatment programs for people struggling with drug and alcohol-related problems.
- All services are confidential.
- Cost for services is based on the patient’s ability to pay.
- Treatment services are also available in Spanish, including assessment, DUI or MIP classes, and individual sessions and groups.
After hours crisis line:
Anyone experiencing a crisis related to their substance use may call and speak with a counselor 24 hours a day. This service is available to clients of the program and the general public. All calls are confidential.

Counselors are also available to talk to families and friends of someone using or abusing alcohol and/or drugs. We can assist in answering questions about the warnings signs of use, consequences of use, and tips in dealing with someone who may be addicted.
